About the event
Kwanza is a holiday that is celebrated during the month of December. It starts right after Christmas and last for 7 days. Each day represents an important value that represents a strong black person or family. The Karamu, "Feast", is held on the sixth night of the celebration. Friends and family gather and bring food and gifts and reflect on the year, and plan for success for the new year to come.
